How can I purchase advance tickets?
Tickets are $6 in advance or $10 day of show and this covers admission only or you can opt to purchase a Bourbon Experience ticket which provides event entry, a commemorateive sample glass and 10 tokens to enjoy samples of more than 30 premium bourbons. Additional tokens are $1 each. Bourbon Experience tickets are $30 advance / $40 day of show. Ticket price does not include any food costs or BBQ samples. Advance tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person at several metro Atlanta area TicketAlternative ticket outlets. For complete details visit the Tickets page here.

How much is admission for Kids?
Kids 12 and under will receive FREE admission when accompanied by a paid adult. All food and BBQ samples on site are cash sales only.

Can I try the competition BBQ?
Yes, we do have an opportunity to try the competition BBQ from participating teams.

On Friday starting at 6pm, we have a special Tasting event with a select group of teams participating. Participating team booths will have a blue flag so that you can easily find them. Patrons can purchase chicken drumsticks for $2.00 at participating team booths while supplies last. All sales will be cash – sorry no credit or debit cards accepted for samples. Get there early as wings samples will sell out!

On Saturday starting at 12noon, we have a special People's Choice Sample event with a select group of teams participating. Participating team booths will have a blue flag so that you can easily find them. Patrons can purchase 1 sample for $1.00 at the team booths while supplies last. All sales will be cash – sorry no credit or debit cards accepted for samples. Get there early as BBQ samples will sell out!

Are there ATMS at the event?
There will be several ATM’s located throughout the event site. 

Are pets permitted at the Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival?
For the convenience of all patrons, pets will not be permitted at the Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival.  Service animals are permitted.

If I take MARTA, what station is the closest?
We strongly encourage the use of MARTA to the event site.  Exit at the Arts Center MARTA Station and take the shuttle to Atlantic Station. 

Where can I park?
There's plenty of parking available at Atlantic Station. Parking in the Atlantic Station parking deck is FREE for the first 2 hours!

Does the Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival have a volunteer program and if so how can I get involved?
The Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival does need volunteers to assist with this event. Our volunteers work with us in a variety of capacities to ensure that the event runs smoothly and is a great experience for everyone.
