Bar-B-Q Teams

40+ Professional and Backyard Teams from across the region will gather to compete for more than $10,000 in cash prizes, trophies and bragging rights.

Pro Teams
Teams will compete in 3 of 5 categories of their choice. Categories will include: Brisket, Chicken, Pulled Pork, Ribs and Whole Hog. Winners will be selected in each category and an overall winner will be selected based on the highest combined score.

Backyard Teams
Teams will compete in ribs and chicken category. Winners will be selected for each category and an overall winner will be selected based on the highest combined score.

People's Choice Contest
All Pro and Backyard teams are eligible to participate in the People's Choice Contest. Patrons can purchase BBQ Buck tickets at the event for $1 each. Participating teams designated by signage on their booths will offer sample sized portions for 1 ticket per sample. Patrons can purchase unlimited samples while supplies last. The Team that collects the most tickets will win a cash prize, trophy and recognition as the People's Choice Winner. Get there early as People's Choice Samples will sell out!
